BETHANY, OKLAHOMA, August 26, 2021 - Marcus & Millichap (NYSE: MMI), a leading commercial real estate brokerage firm specializing in investment sales, financing, research and advisory services, announced today the sale of Bethany Self Storage, a 28,650-square foot selfstorage facility located in Bethany, Oklahoma.

Brandon Karr and Danny Cunningham, investment specialists in Marcus & Millichap's Fort Worth office, had the exclusive listing to market the property on behalf of the seller, a limited liability company. "When we first met with the seller two years ago, he was still leasing up the first phase of the facility. Constructing a final phase two, and then enjoying the cash flow was his goal. In a conversation about the state of the market earlier this year, we saw that there might be an opportunity to take advantage of the market conditions, and then build another facility in the future. Fortunately, our team was able to identify a large storage operator who had a major presence in surrounding states but had not yet entered Oklahoma. The group was eager to enter the Oklahoma market, and Bethany Self Storage was the perfect opportunity," said Mr. Cunningham. The buyer, a private investor, was also secured Mr. Karr and Mr. Cunningham.
